Andrew Salter, from Knebworth completed the challenge in March when he successfully scaled Aconcagua's 6965 metre peak, on the Argentine and Chilean border. Aconcagua was the first mountain on his itinerary, but he left it until last when he was incapacitated by pulmonary oedema, acute altitude sickness.
